A lightweight utility that makes the Windows Start Menu translucent/transparent. This application utilizes XAML diagnostics to inject a dll into the process and modify XAML.

Installation Guide

1. Download and Install:
   • Download the latest release from the Releases page.
   • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
2. Dependencies:
   • No additional dependencies are required for this application.

Settings

You can adjust transparency settings through the application’s graphical interface without manually modifying the registry. All values must be between 1 and 9. It currently uses the registry to store values (as a fallback option). You can find them at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\TranslucentSM. After changing the settings, you must terminate StartMenuExperienceHost.exe and restart the application.

TintLuminosityOpacity

Controls the brightness brush (some minor layers).

TintOpacity

Main acrylic brush.
